Below are a few samples of things I've done that are a departure from my usual style of humorous illustration.

superhero.jpg

A direct mail company in Tampa commissioned this Superhero illustration. The treatment is much more graphic than my typical work.

jazzpostercopy.jpg

This image (above) began as a loose India ink wash drawing; then imported into PhotoShop where I added a few splashes of color. Is there a jazz festival out there looking for poster art?

campposter.jpg

Poster art commemorating the 50th anniversary of a summer camp in North Carolina. It was also printed on tee shirts.

thecity.jpg

When I'm on the phone with someone whose conversation tends to ramble, I pick up the nearest drawing utensil and commence to doodle. This cityscape was rendered with pencil on the cover of a tracing pad.

cdcover.jpg

As a young art student I did quite a few abstract paintings. The graphic pictured above was a scanned section of one of those paintings, used in the creation of a CD cover. The cover concept was rejected but I've always liked it.
